As part of our “Meet the Makers” interview series, we asked our Makers to tell us a little about themselves. Today, meet Russell from Electrochemistry!

Electrochemistry1) Who are you and where do you come from?

I am Russell (also representing Lindsey and Mick).

4) What will you have on your stall?

We are running an electrochemistry workshop where you can build your own battery out of household items; make chlorine gas; split water into hydrogen and oxygen and ignite it; copper-plate your keys or a coin.

5) Are you running any workshops?

Yes ā€“ see above!

6) Have you been to a Maker Faire before?

Yes ā€“ I have attended Brighton Mini Maker Faire for the past two years (proof is here, Iā€™m in the skull t-shirt looking at the Dalek). This will be Lindsay and Mick’s first Maker Faire.
